Hay Tire is well know for tires, oil changes, and other typical maintenance items, but the Mount Pleasant location has a second shop located next door to the tire center that performs major repairs, and I think this is the only Hay Tire location that does this. They have the facilities and mechanical expertise to perform major repairs on most vehicles except maybe high end European vehicle. I’ve used them for a variety of repairs on our Nissan Armada, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Jeep Wrangler to include a radiator replacement, wheel bearings, strut replacement (they even tracked down the specific model of Bilstein struts I wanted for my Jeep), and just recently they repaired an oil leak on the Grand Cherokee. The quality of their work has been great, and I’ve found them to be honest, and priced fairly.

Update 3/3/25: Brought vehicle into Hay for service. Jordon and Josh took excellent care of us! Couldn’t have asked for better..no pressure upsell but did suggest a few items that may need attention in the future. Happy experience…. Leaving the next day on a road trip. I contacted Hay tires for what I thought was a minor issue. Thank goodness the team discovered a bigger problem with my tires before something horrible happened. Hay immediately showed me that my interior tread was completely dry rotted and cracking apart. I needed the car the next day for the trip.. Hay team and Rob went above and beyond to find replacement tires the same day! Very grateful that they went above and beyond
